Sandy Shiroma
Sandy is a self-taught artist whose art medium of choice is oil paintings on feathers. Using feathers as her “canvas,” it is only natural that birds are the primary subject of her work. However, describing her as a wildlife artist would more accurately distinguish her collective body of work. “I have the wonderful blessing of having a canvas that has rich pigments, stunning patterns and designs, and distinctive textures,” she says. Sandy currently resides in Arlington, Texas and she is a new exhibitor this year to the Edom Art Festival. Prices $36-$300.
