Elizabeth crosses over in both the fiber and mixed media category. She is from Tyler, and all of her pine needles collected for her extraordinary baskets are collected from the Azalea and Brick Street districts in town. These one-of-a-kind vessels spark the imagination and inspire thought and the exploration of history of fine weavers in this country. She made her first basket in 2021, and now has become obsessed with crafting and coiling new designs and exploring the materials and their limits, pushing the boundaries of the lowly and humble pine straw covering the earth.
